The Colony Palms Hotel has a rich and colorful history in Palm Springs and over the years has been host to Hollywood’s elite, mobsters, athletes, film producers, gamblers and politicians. Originally dubbed the Colonial House, the Spanish Colonial style hotel was built and opened in 1936 by owner Al Wertheimer, a reputed mobster and member of the infamous Purple Gang.

Centrally located in downtown Palm Springs, this hotel offers stunning mountain views, a full-service spa and an on-site restaurant in an ideal location. There is also on-site pool that boasts mountain views, it is open 24 hours a day.
